about E.A.R
Environmental Arbor Resources (E.A.R) is a leading independent Arboricultural consultancy based on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Our aim is to proactively manage trees and their associated risks using the latest tree assessment techniques and methods. Our head Arborist Troy Roberts holds an AQF5 in Arboriculture/Horticulture, which was completed at Hunter TAFE.
Born into a tree working family, Troy has been immersed in the tree industry from a young age and takes any education opportunity to build on a life long passion by furthering his knowledge of trees and mitigating and managing their often misinterpreted risks. Troy has also operated as a contracting tree climber specialising in large and complex tree removal, emergency response and tree preservation in restricted locations such as Sydney CBD, Centennial Park to remote, rural locations in various parts of New South Wales. Troy has worked directly with industry leaders and governing bodies throughout New South Wales and abroad.
This year Environmental Arbor Resources (E.A.R) services were required by a German NGO and we spent a month in Bolivia prescribing tree management options for trees impacted on by the construction of South America’s largest skateboarding facility in the ‘Pura Pura’ National Park on the outskirts of La Paz. Time abroad has also been spent studying the worlds largest trees in California’s Sequoia National park, to urban forest management throughout Europe to subtropical rainforest reserves throughout Asia.
Environmental Arbor Resources (E.A.R) is one of Port Macquarie Hastings Council recommended Consulting Arborists.
